This ranch presents a family tradition that stretches three generations back in both Achadinha, Portugal and Vallejo, California when both of Jim’s – the family patriarch – grandfathers were milking cows. Eventually the family relocated to Petaluma where they are currently milking cows and goats to bring us these beautiful Farmstead cheeses direct from the ranch.
Fresh cultured butter is rich in probiotics and incredibly creamy with just the right dash of salt. Achadinha butter is extremely popular and everyone says it reminds them of traditional French butter. Maybe that is why they call Petaluma the Normandy of California.

Please also note this farm requires orders be submitted ten days in advance and as we only deliver the freshest products, delivery times will be affected accordingly.
